Commitment, Choice & Contribution
Stewardship of a vibrant planet is ours to share
Through unrivaled vision and quality, Woodtech goes beyond renewable options and performance. For Woodtech, sustainability means responsibly building our future. Committed to conservation and excellence, we inspire everyone we impact to live healthy and prosperous lives.
We are committed to using materials and products which are both economically viable and visually stunning.
Woodtech is selective. If we are not sure if materials come from a sustainable source, we don't buy them. Period.
Our walk toward being more green broadens and opens up the doors to moving beyond what has ever been done before.
The Woodtech obligation to our environment is always a top consideration. Today Woodtech is in compliance with all wood products legislation, offering products that are
- CARB II compliant
- the lowest VOC finishes for high end wood products in compliance with Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), California State Regulations and US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- LEED Accredited
- Able to meet or exceed BIFMA levels
- Able to meet or exceed Green Guard standards
Going above and beyond, Woodtech is proud to be responsible to our local community with plans in the near future for planting trees in our local urban areas and donating green post consumer resources to local charitable institutions.
We walk as gently on the planet as we can and look forward to new opportunities and technologies that will enhance our efforts to preserve the environment for generations to come.
Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
Leading the way in ongoing sustainability, conservation and style
Woodtech is committed to being as “Green” as possible. Not only do we recycle materials and waste from our offices and factory, we work closely with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to reduce emissions.
We encourage our clients to do all they can to conserve the environment. One of the ways to do that is to follow the LEED-CI (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Commercial Interiors) guidelines from the U.S. Green Building Council.
These guidelines represent good advice for anyone trying to be environmentally sensitive, but it is also possible to obtain LEED-CI certification and recognition for your project.
Working with Woodtech can help. By using Woodtech furniture, a client is well on the way to an award for environmental awareness and action.

Woodtech Materials
We support zero waste practices . 100% of all raw materials are used in production for:
- Hardwood
- Veneer*
- Landscaping Chips
- Landscaping Compost
- Wood Fire Fuel to power Production
* Using wood veneer expands tree usage by at least 50 to 1 board feet.
Our finishes have almost zero waste using our advanced 3 dimensional spray technology. We also reduce the environmental impacts by using Sherwin Williams "Green Sure" finish. Green Sure finish meets or exceeds the same standards as Green Guard and is an excellent solution for low VOC projects.
